The articles on this site try to cover a wide range of topics relating to herbalism and tea. I source my herbs as a locally as possible but import tea from Asia and Africa.

Hi
I just by chance came upon an abstract of your paper on tea drinking in Ireland. I am an Irish storyteller and I am developing a one man show around Ireland and tea.
I would really welcome any sources of stories, information etc reagrding the early years of tea in Ireland.
I’ve no idea if this will reach you. However I notice that you are only coming to terms with facebook twitter etc so like me you are no tecky!!
Regards and hoping
Philip
Hi there.
Storytelling about Ireland and tea- very interesting! There is plenty of scope in that topic. You need to let me know where and when you are preforming.
You’ve probably seen the articles that I’ve written so far on the history of tea drinking in Ireland (Tea-drinking in Early Nineteenth Century Ireland, A History of Ireland in 100 Objects, Sheep dung tea and The New York Times Article).
I have plenty of other papers and articles but it is probably easiest to email them to you directly.
Will do that shortly.

Hi Breda,
We’d love to talk to you on the Late Lunch Show on LMFM radio (based in Drogheda, Co. Louth). Are you from this neck of the woods at all?
Louise
